Trace Esports has become the first side to be knocked out of the Valorant Masters Bangkok after today's 0-2 defeat against Pacific's T1.
Before today's action, the Chinese side was run over by the VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff champions G2 Esports.
Trace Esports qualified for the Valorant Masters Bangkok after a second-place finish in the VCT 2025 China Kickoff. The team's run included an impressive 2-0 victory against the Valorant Champions 2024 winners, EDward Gaming, as well as wins against Dragon Rangers Gaming and Bilibili Gaming.
Unfortunately for the Chinese side, the team has been eliminated after back-to-back 0-2 defeats against G2 Esports and T1. Curiously enough, both series included 3-13 and 8-13 defeats.
With this result, the Chinese squad has finished in the tournament's bottom two and have secured USD$10,000. Unfortunately, this result isn't enough for them to claim any more VCT Points.
So far, Team Vitality and DRX are the only playoff-confirmed sides in the Valorant Masters Bangkok. Later today, the loser of the series between Team Liquid and Sentinels will join Trace Esports in the tournament's bottom two.
