After it was leaked a few days ago, Arrowhead has announced the next free update for Helldivers 2 called Heart of Democracy, which is already out for the PlayStation and PC versions.
As the name implies, this update finally takes the divers back to Super Earth, where they will have to defend their home against a massive invasion from the Illuminate.
A post on the PlayStation Blog explains that players will have to get control of certain areas where the squid fleets are landing, using Planetary Defense Cannons to take down the enemy ships and fighting alongside the SEAF troops.
However, the fight will be more difficult as it will take place on the cities of Super Earth, meaning players will also have to care for the civilians roaming the streets.
