The first teaser for Battlefield 6's battle royale mode has been released

Great news, FPS fans!

Battlefield 6 Battle Royale

EA has unveiled the first teaser for Battlefield 6's upcoming battle royale mode. The game mode is expected to be included in Battlefield Labs, the private testing program EA and DICE have been running for the last few months to test out the game's upcoming features.

The teaser was presented during the Battlefield 6 multiplayer reveal event, where we see a bunch of soldiers, a tank, and even a helicopter running from something. Then, the camera looks back, pointing at what appears to be a fire ring destroying everything on the map. We assume this is the map's playable area decreasing, which is a crucial part in all battle royales.

The fire ring reminds us of Battlefield V's battle royale experience, properly titled Firestorm. So this could be an indication that the mode will draw direct inspiration from the mode that was released in 2019.

As of now, no other information has been announced or confirmed by EA, meaning players will have to be patient. Although it has all been taken down by now, previous leaks revealed the intro cutscene for this mode and a recreation of what the map will look like, which is set to take place in California.

We expect to get more details in the upcoming month as we get closer to the game's release. Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10 for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series S|X, and PC. It will be then that players will be able to unlock the full Battlefield 6 experience.
