Release date
The Finals Season 5 will be released on December 12, 2024. The upcoming season of the game is coming almost three months after the release of Season 4, which was introduced to the game in September 2024.
New Map
Season 5 of The Finals will include a new map called Bernal. The map is located in Mexico. Here's The Finals' official description of the map:
This magical town is set in the shadow of the awe-inspiring Peña de Bernal, one of the largest monoliths in the world. The Arena blends rich culture with the showstopping dynamism of THE FINALS. Traverse the narrow, cobblestone streets of its colorful colonial plaza which serves as the map’s heart, leap from rooftop to rooftop, or carve your own path right through the walls. With destructible environments, turn Bernal’s historic charm into the Arena of your dreams.
Bernal will be the eighth map added to The Finals after Las Vegas, Monaco, Skyway Stadium, Seoul, Horizon, Kyoto 1568, and Fortune Stadium.
New weapons
The Finals Season 5 will include two new weapons, which are described as "game-changing" in the ShAk-50 and the Cerberus 12A.
The ShAk-50 is a "heavy-hitting rifle for the Heavy that fires two bullets per shot, delivering immense stopping power with each pull of the trigger."
Meanwhile, the Cerberus 12A is a "break-action triple shotgun for the Medium loaded with incendiary shells that can set both contestants and the environment ablaze."
