
Team Spirit have won the IEM Cologne 2025 after a rock-solid win against MOUZ in the tournament's grand final. Although MOUZ's headed to the match after winning against the curren- best roster in the world, Team Vitality, the Russian lineup of Team Spirit ran over the European mix with an impeccable 3-0 win.
Team Spirit had a great start to the series with a one-sided 13-7 win on Mirage. The second map wasn't as close, as the Russians could only secure a 13-11 win on Ancient, avoiding the infinite overtime by just a round. Meanwhile, the third was absolute dominance by Team Spirit, who secured a 13-6 win on Nuke.
Despite being just 18-years-old, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has now won his second IEM after winning his first in Katowice, Poland, in February 2024. After reaching the grand final of the IEM Katowice 2024, the Russians are now back on top after today's win. Additionally, the youngster has been chosen as the best player of IEM Cologne 2025.
All in all, Team Spirit's 2025 so far has been outstanding, with the team having collected more than USD$1M only in prize pool money after wins at the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, PGL Astana 2025, and IEM Cologne 2025. Team Spirit's upcoming international appearance will be at the Esports World Cup 2025.
