Team Liquid Alienware qualify for BLAST R6 Major Osaka

Team Liquid Alienware have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka after taking down FURIA in the BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 Playoffs.

The Blue Cavalry completely dominated the series, winning both maps, played on Kafe Dostoyevsky and Clubhouse, by 7-2 scores. The best players of the match were Gabriel "Maia" Maia and Joao "Jv92" Vitor with SiegeGG ratings of 1.61 and 1.59, respectively.

Team Liquid Alienware's qualification for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka was crucial for the team as they had missed out on the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City earlier this season. Due to their poor start to the season, the Brazilians started Stage 2 in a difficult spot on the global standings for the Six Invitational 2027. Now that they have clinched a spot to be in Osaka, the Blue Cavalry are nearing the list's Top 15.

The BLAST R6 Major Osaka will be played between November 6 and November 15. However, Team Liquid Alienware can't focus on Osaka yet as they still have to play against FaZe Clan in the BLAST R6 South America League 2026 Stage 2 Upper Bracket Final. After that, they will either play in the grand final or drop to the Lower Bracket, where they could play two more games.
