Team Heretics have qualified for the Valorant Champions 2025 after Team Liquid defeated BBL Esports in the VCT 2025 EMEA League Stage 2 Upper Bracket Final.
The Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 champions dominated the league's Group Alpha as they went 5-0 after winning ten of their twelve maps, finishing with a round difference of +41. However, despite their early dominance, Los Niños couldn't keep the momentum in the playoffs and were knocked out of the competition after back-to-back 0-2 defeats against BBL Esports and Natus Vincere.
Following the team's surprising elimination, Team Heretics had to rely on other roster's performances to qualify for Valorant Champions 2025. In other words, the players' future wasn't on their hands anymore; it was on the rest of teams that were alive.
Fortunately for Los Niños, after some failed attempts, today's Team Liquid victory over BBL Esports means the Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 champions locked one of the four spots to represent EMEA at the Valorant Champions 2025. The final spot will be given tomorrow to the winner of the match between GIANTX and BBL Esports.
