Valorant has decided to disable Reyna after players found a bug that prevented the Mexican agent from properly using Overheal from her Devour ability.
Said bug was found after the release of Patch 10.05 and Riot are already working on a fix.
On paper, Valorant's decision won't only affect the Competitive playlist but also the most casual game modes, like Unrated, Spike Rush... you name it.
Unfortunately, it's still too soon to tell when Reyna will be back to Valorant. However, although the Duelist has been temporarily disabled from the game, competitive players will still have access to her in VCT competitions as "the bug does not pose a competitive advantage."

Reyna is one of the most popular agents in Valorant, especially when it comes to lower ranks. Many players, especially players who have a smurf account, enjoy using Reyna as the Mexican agent is perfect for SoloQ players: it allows anyone to play extremely aggressively while also having access to healing abilities.
However, Reyna isn't as popular in higher ranks. She's a Duelist and her abilities are great to get kills, that's why she's so popular; but, realistically, many other Duelists bring more than her to the table.
While Reyna's Leer allows her to flash only opponents, which allows her to play even more aggressively, the difference between her abilities and other Duelists' abilities is that she's a lone wolf while the rest can be played collectively.
For instance, Raze and Jett bring abilities that can be paired with other agents to easily get their opponents off-guard. Another example is Phoenix, whose fire wall can also be used strategically. After all, every agent is different and teams must pick them based on what they can bring to the battlefield, not just personal preference.
Funnily enough, with Reyna being a demon in lower ranks, many players have welcomed the decision to disable her as a blessing in disguise. Now, many players believe Competitive matches will be more enjoyable.
If you want my personal opinion, I agree with them. Reyna, don't rush it to come back to the game, please!
