PSG Talon and Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten have parted ways one year after the Swed became the team's head coach.

The former PENTA, G2 Esports, and Team Vitality player, and former G2 Esports coach became the South Koreans' coach in March 2024 and helped the team to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, the Esports World Cup 2024, and the Six Invitational 2025.

Although the team couldn't reach the stage in any of the international tournaments played, the South Koreans defeated some of the best teams in the world including Team BDS twice, DarkZero Esports, and E1 Sports.

In a video released on the South Korean's team official X account (former Twitter) the three-time world champion admitted that he decided "to go somewhere else." Here's Fabian's full statement regarding his decision to join PSG Talon and his recent decision to step away from the project.

A year ago I decided to come here to Korea and pursue an adventure where, instead of competing to win every single event, I would be competing against myself to see if I could take a Korean team from absolute bottom of every tournament to actually be a competitive team. The last year has been incredible, we have beaten some of the world's best teams, we have shown that Korea can play Rainbow Six Siege, but that's not enough for me. I don't want to just show we can play Siege, I want to win the events.
I thought I was done with the competition, but you know, it just hasn't been enough for me. So, with that said, I decided to go somewhere else. I decided to pursue another opportunity in my career, I want to win those events again.

In the same video, Fabian revealed that his replacement at PSG Talon will be Jonathaan "Jok3r" Paarsch, who he brought in the team in May 2024 as an analyst. The German has now become the team's new head coach.

Unfortunately, Fabian has yet to reveal his new destination. However, considering he has stated he wants to win championships again, we expect him to join a roster located in Europe, Brazil, or North America.
