Season 13 has been out for a few weeks and the current Overwatch 2 meta is more clear now, after a few competitions and after players experienced the most recent changes.

Although a hotfix was deployed between the start of the season and now, things have remained fairly similar. We have updated our heroes tier list to show which heroes are better or worse.

Overwatch 2 heroes tier list

Here is our tier list of all the available heroes regardless of the role they belong to:

Overwatch 2 Season 13 heroes tier list after hotfix 1
  • S-Tier: Widowmaker, Sojourn, Juno, Ana, Brigitte
  • A-Tier: Orisa, D.Va, Winston, Genji, Ashe, Cassidy, Echo, Junkrat, Mei, Pharah, Tracer, Baptiste, Kiriko, Lucio, Zenyatta
  • B-Tier: Mauga, Junker Queen, Doomfist, Reinhardt, Zarya, Ramattra, Roadhog, Sigma, Wrecking Ball, Hanzo, Reaper, Soldier-76, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Venture, Illari, Moira
  • C-Tier: Bastion, Mercy, Sombra
  • D-Tier: Lifeweaver

As you can see, the tank meta remained fairly similar to what it was at the end of Season 12, with Orisa standing on top and D.Va plus Winston following closely after the nerfs to the former.

This tank meta has allowed Sojourn to be a contender because she deals big damage against Orisa and the lack of shields allows her rails to be lethal. However, the new surprise at the top is Widowmaker, following the trend that the season's mythic skin owner also gets more protagonism.

The sniper is now more viable to use thanks to the rework of Sombra making her less lethal, and we all know she is one of the biggest Widowmaker counters.

On the support front, Juno and Brigitte remain the better choices but Ana has also made quite a few appearances in both the professional scene and high-rank competitive games. Paired with Brigitte, she can be a lethal force to deal damage, anti enemies, and heal from afar while getting some protection.

We will update the list every time a significant patch with several changes or adjustments drops into the game to represent the current meta.
