Master Chief is making a return to Fortnite this Christmas as the Halo character bundle is going to be back in Fortnite's store starting from December 24, according to leaks.
Fortnite isn't the first shooter to release a skin themed around Master Chief. For instance, in Rainbow Six Siege, Sledge has an Elite Bundle themed around Master Chief called Spartan-117.
The Master Chief bundle was first released to Fortnite in Chapter 2: Season 5, which was launched to the game on December 2, 2020. When the bundle was in the store, its price was 2,600 V-Bucks.
Back when the Master Chief bundle was first released, the collection included the following items:
- Master Chief Outfit: 1,500 V-Bucks
- Battle Legend Back Bling: 1,500 V-Bucks
- Gravity Hammer Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks
- UNSC Pelican Glider: 1,200 V-Bucks
- Lil' Warthog Emote: 800 V-Bucks
Although Master Chief first appeared in Fortnite in December 2020, the bundle was removed from the store in June 2022. Now, two years and a half later, it's presumably making a return to the Fortnite shop.
Unfortunately, Fortnite has yet to make an official announcement regarding the return of Master Chief. However, considering that the leak has been released by the popular Fortnite leaker @ShiinaBR, nobody should deny it.
The news of the return of the Master Chief bundle have clashed with the leak of a collaboration between Fortnite and Cyberpunk 2077, which would see the return of Keanu Reeves to Fortnite. The fans are thrilled!
