M80 qualify for BLAST R6 Major Osaka

M80 have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka after beating Shopify Rebellion at the BLAST R6 North America League 2026 Stage 2 Playoffs.

The BLAST R6 Major Munich champions had no major issues to clinch North America's final spot at Osaka after 7-3 and 7-4 wins on Fortress and Kafe Dostoyevsky. Liam "Ashn" Paz was the team's best player of the series with a SiegeGG rating of 1.75 and a K-D of 31-12 (+19).

With this result, M80 will be in Osaka after finishing the sixth playday of the BLAST R6 North America League 2026 Stage 2 League Phase at the bottom of the standings. Eventually, the team bounced back and sneaked in the league's Top 6 after three consecutive wins, pushing Wildcard outside of the playoffs in the very last game against 100 Thieves.

M80 qualifying for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka also means that they are still in the race to qualify for the Six Invitational 2027 through the global standings. However, the team needs a solid run in Japan as they are still outside of the standings' Top 15.
