KINOTROPE gaming announced the signing of Etienne "Mag" Rousseau as the team's new analyst. The former FNATIC player recently parted ways with ENTERPRISE Esports.

KINOTROPE gaming finished in third place of the BLAST R6 APAC North 2026 Stage 1 only behind the two region's favorites CAG by VARREL and Dplus KIA. Before that, the Japanese team had also finished in third place of the BLAST R6 APAC North Kickoff 2026.

KINOTROPE gaming have never qualified for an international event before. The team's current coach is Shunnosuke "OkOmEsH" Koga and his role won't change as Mag has joined as an analyst. The two of them will be behind KINOTROPE gaming's players, supporting the squad to achieve their goal of qualifying for the first Rainbow Six Siege international event held in Japan since the PL Season 10 Finals, held in Tokoname, Japan, in November 2019.

KINOTROPE gaming's first match in Stage 2 will be against BNK FEARX, who recently announced the signings of Zachary "Nyx" Thomas and Kim "JLT" Sang-woo.
