
G2 Esports have qualified for the Valorant Masters Toronto after taking down Evil Geniuses in the VCT 2025 Americas Stage 1 Lower Bracket Semifinal.
Although the Group Omega first seed and Valorant Masters Bangkok grand finalists G2 Esports were the favorites win the match, Evil Geniuses momentarily stole the show with a 13-9 win on Lotus in the first map of the series.
Shortly after, a one-sided performance on Split saw G2 Esports leveling the series with a 13-7 win. Finally, the samurai closed down the series with a narrow 13-11 win on Pearl.
Despite the team's slow start to the series, four of the five players ended the game with ACS ratings of above 200. In fact, the best player of the match ended up being Nathan "leaf" Orf, whose ACS of 144 in Lotus was followed by ACSs of 386 and 248 in Split and Pearl, respectively.
Following tonight's victory, G2 Esports have joined Sentinels and MIBR as the teams that will represent the Americas region at the Valorant Masters Toronto. Later today, G2 Esports and MIBR will face off against in the Lower Bracket Final as the winner will play against Sentinels at the VCT 2025 Americas Stage 1 Grand Final.
