The Fortnite x Squid Game crossover is happening sooner than we think. Epic Games and Netflix have been quiet about this collaboration, outside of a teaser trailer. While these skins aren’t out yet, leaks are showing what they look like, and fans have mixed opinions about what they’re seeing.

It will be interesting to see if this leak is showing us the final product, or if there’s more than meets the eye. Leaks aren’t always accurate after all, though what we’ve seen from does seem pretty legit. Either way, fans might want to temper their expectations with these skins, especially if they’re fans of the show.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration event.

Who are the Squid Game characters appearing in Fortnite?

Outside of the show’s guards, none of the main characters from Squid Game will be part of the Fortnite event. If the leaks are true, the game’s original characters will be wearing the show’s signature jumpsuits, and that’s about it.

The leak from iFireMonkey has received mixed opinions from fans. Some do like how the jumpsuits and guards look in-game. Others are upset that we won’t be getting any of the main characters from this show, given how popular it is. Expect fans to keep these mixed reactions until the skins launch.

When are the Squid Game skins coming to Fortnite?

These Squid Game skins will be coming to Fortnite on June 27, the same day as the show’s finale.

Since these skins are already pretty detailed and can be used, it’s clear that they’ve been finished for a while. Releasing them during the Superman season is a surprising move, but fans will appreciate getting their hands on these skins soon. Although the lack of main characters is still annoying.

How much will the Squid Game skins cost in Fortnite?

No prices for these skins have been leaked, but fans can expect the usual 1,200 V-Bucks or more. Considering how generic they are, we don’t think they will cost too much.

Fans of the show and hardcore collectors will want to get these skins when they come out. Based on the game’s history, there’s a very good chance that they won’t be available for a long time after this season ends. Just be prepared to spend some V-Bucks on them, unless they end up being limited-time prizes during an in-game event.
