Season 2 of Peacemaker is going full steam ahead for its big release this August 21. The good news? Epic Games and James Gunn have officially announced that DC’s wildest vigilante is making his way into the world’s biggest battle royale.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Peacemaker collab.
Who is Peacemaker?
DC fans who’ve been keeping up with the movies and shows will already know him. But for those who don’t, Peacemaker is a vigilante, or more accurately, an anti-hero in the DC universe. He means well, but always seems to end up in the worst situations with the worst people. If you had to compare, he’s kind of like Marvel’s Captain America, but way more unhinged on the mental side.

His last on-screen appearance was a quick cameo in James Gunn’s Superman, where he popped up on a newsfeed talking trash about the Man of Steel. Now, he’s back for Peacemaker Season 2, premiering August 21 on HBO Max.
Peacemaker Fortnite release date
There’s no official release date just yet, but reliable Fortnite insider @ShiinaBR posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Peacemaker will be coming to the game very soon.
If DC follows the same rollout they did with David Corenswet’s Superman in Chapter 6, Season 3, we’ll likely see John Cena’s Peacemaker drop around the same time his show premieres this August 21. But here’s the exciting part: we might get him even earlier. Some fans are speculating that he’ll arrive once Chapter 4 kicks off, which is expected to launch on August 7.
Peacemaker skin price
There’s still no confirmed price for the Peacemaker skin or what’ll be included in his bundle. He could be part of the Battle Pass or show up in the Item Shop for V-Bucks. At this point, we can only guess until Epic reveals more about the collab.
