Epic Games has done the impossible and has brought its fan-favorite Wavebreaker pack back to Fortnite. This cosmetic went up to $1000 through second-hand sellers but players can now get it without spending as much.

It was rare to see older skins return, but that changed since fans are nostalgic for the shooter’s early years. Without further ado, here’s how to get the iconic skin without wasting thousands of dollars.

How to buy the Wavebreaker Pack

Boot up Fortnite, head to the game’s shop, and check out the Special Offers and Bundles section. Players should find the Wavebreaker Pack costing $4.49, which is way cheaper.

The Wavebreaker Pack was originally introduced as early DLC for Chapter 2: Season 1. Once the cosmetic was de-listed, fans were obsessed with getting the skin back. Players on the game’s subreddit claimed that whole accounts were bought so this costume could be used.

Luckily, this piece of DLC is back, so players won’t have to spend too much money to use this cosmetic. This new version of the Wavebreaker Pack also comes with a LEGO skin, since LEGO Fortnite is a huge part of the shooter’s brand.

With likely sources claiming that the original version of Fortnite is coming back, there’s a chance more classic DLC costumes will be returning. It will be interesting to see what other DLC packs will return as part of the nostalgic rebrand that’s reportedly coming.

Epic’s free-to-play shooter has been a huge part of pop culture, adding plenty of characters from movies and other video games. From Marvel and DC characters to God of War, even acclaimed rapper Snoop Dogg is now part of the game. That shows how influential this shooter is and why some players broke the bank to use older skins.
