The current Chapter 6 Season 3 of the battle royale is in full swing. Being the first-ever Star Wars-themed season, there's plenty for Warsies to enjoy, with more to come in the coming weeks, including Darth Jar Jar.

A long-time fan speculation, Epic Games has decided to add the infamous Episode I character as a Sith lord. So, if you're interested in adding Darth Jar Jar to your collection, here's how to do it.

How to get the Fortnite Darth Jar Jar skin

Darth Jar Jar can be purchased via Fortnite Item Shop during Chapter 6 Season 3. Sadly, it won't be part of the current battle pass, as Epic confirmed players will have to spend V-Bucks on him when they eventually release him. However, there is a big caveat.

The unique thing about Darth Jar Jar is that you have to grind XP to get the ability to purchase him and his cosmetics. There is a regular Jar Jar Binks skin that doesn't require any grinding

There won't be any other way of acquiring him. Once he leaves the Fortnite Item Shop, it'll be unclear when Darth Jar Jar will return, or if he ever will at all.

Darth Jar Jar skin cost and release date

Both regular Jar Jar Binks and Darth Jar Jar cost 1,500 V-Bucks.

The skins became available on May 16. Considering Chapter 6 Season 3 is a very short season, ending in early June, you'll have just a few weeks to get either.
