FNATIC part ways with CTZN and DEADSHT

FNATIC announced the departures of Ben "CTZN" McMillan and Jimmy "DEADSHT" Vojtasik. Their exits come a few weeks after FNATIC's first international qualification in over two years. The orange lineup secured a Top 12 finish at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026, played in Paris, France, last month.

After years of disappointing results, FNATIC finally got back on track. However, the exits of CTZN and DEADSHT move the team close to square one. The British esports powerhouse has yet to unveil their replacements.

FNATIC surprisingly qualified for the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 after a thrilling 2-1 victory against G2 Esports. The team's fourth place finish in the BLAST R6 Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 1 saw them moving to Phase 1 of the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026. Eventually, the team reached Phase 2 after wins against CAG by VARREL, MIBR.LOS, and Al-Ula Club.

In Phase 2, FNATIC was first ran over by FaZe Clan. Then, the Europeans demolished the Chinese Stage 1 champions EDward Gaming. Finally, the team was knocked out of the tournament after a 1-2 defeat against the eventual grand finalists FURIA.

Although FNATIC has yet to unveil the team's two new players, we should know their replacements in the next few days as the team's first game will be against Team Falcons on September 7, 2026.
