Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 is closer than you'd expect. As the OG chapter train continues, players will get a new slew of content based on Fortnite's early seasons.
Initially, the Fortnite OG concept was a small mini-season during the continuity of the main game, which is currently with Chapter 6 Season 2. Due to its popularity, Epic Games decided to turn the "OG" brand into a permanent separate mode.
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 start date and downtime
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 is set to kick off on March 25. As always, players interested in playing will be able to enjoy OG from the main hub once they launch the game on their preferred platform.

The current main story of Fortnite has players exploring Chapter 6 Season 2
Expect the usual downtime prior to its launch as Epic is also releasing a new patch alongside the debut of OG Chapter 1 Season 3. At the moment, we don't have an exact timeframe but we'll update this article with information once the developers release it.
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 map
At the moment, we don't have a proper look at the OG season 3 map. However, expect it to look very similar to what Fortnite used to look like all the way back in 2018.
As soon as Epic Games releases a look at the playable map, we'll be updating this article accordingly.
Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 battle pass
Similar to the map, not a lot of details about the battle pass have been shared or leaked. Epic Games is being surprisingly coy with details this time around, but we expect that to change in the coming days.
One thing that most likely won't change is the cost. If it's on par with Season 1 of Fortnite OG, expect it to cost 1,000 V-Bucks. Alternatively, you can obtain it too by subscribing to the Fortnite Crew service.
And that's all we know about Chapter 1 Season 3 of Fortnite OG. Epic has been very silent as their main focus remains on Chapter 6 Season 2, but expect many surprises yet to be revealed.
