Epic Games isn’t wasting time, as leaks have suggested that Kpop Demon Hunters characters will come to Fortnite sooner rather than later.
While we’ve got no official confirmation, important dataminers like HYPEX and Shiine have stated that Fortnite will get some sort of content inspired by Netflix’s hit animated film. Most likely, skins and other assortments of cosmetics. Here’s what we know about the potential Kpop Demon Hunters x Fortnite crossover.
Fortnite x Kpop Demon Hunters release date
At the time of writing, we don’t have a release date set in stone for the Kpop Demon Hunters crossover in Fortnite.
HYPEX did mention that fans can expect the collaboration to drop this same year, which would be an incredibly fast turnaround considering the movie premiered on Netflix this past June. Perhaps Epic sensed Netflix had a massive hit on their hands and approached even before the movie was released? We’ll never know.
What skins can we expect?
If Epic wants to properly please fans, the Kpop Demon Hunters x Fortnite collaboration will add the three main protagonists: Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. They all have unique weapons and very cool designs in the film so they’ll fit right into the world of Epic’s battle royale.
Chapter 6 Season 4 is themed around a bug invasion and hunters trying to eradicate them. There’s a slight chance the members of HUNTR/X can join Fortnite before the season ends this November. But again, beyond HYPEX’s comments of the collaboration coming this year, we don’t really know when it will drop. Timelines can change, and sometimes crossovers get pushed back.
In any case, as soon as we know more concrete information about the Kpop Demon Hunters x Fortnite crossover, we’ll be updating this article accordingly.
