EDward Gaming and Virtus.pro have qualified for the Six Invitational 2027 following Virtus.pro's 2-1 win against Weibo Gaming at the BLAST R6 Major Osaka Phase 2 Upper Bracket Final.
The two teams have mathematically clinched a spot at the Six Invitational 2027 as a consequence of Dplus KIA, KINGZERO eSports, and LOS sharing the same path in the BLAST R6 Major Osaka Lower Bracket. As only one of them will reach the Swiss Stage, that means that two of them are virtually out of the Global Standings Top 15 race.
EDward Gaming's qualification is the most special of the two as they have become the first Chinese team to qualify for the Six Invitational 2027. All Gamers is likely to become the second one to do so; one victory tomorrow against TYLOO would see them earning an extra 50 SI Points to their tally.
Meanwhile, Virtus.pro's victories against KINGZERO eSports and Weibo Gaming have seen them skyrocketing to 7th place, overtaking EDward Gaming, Shopify Rebellion, Wildcard, and All Gamers.
The Six Invitational 2027 currently includes eight teams, these being FaZe Clan, DarkZero Esports, ENTERPRISE Esports, Team Falcons, Weibo Gaming, G2 Esports, Virtus.pro, and EDward Gaming.
