Following the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Major Montreal Phase 2 we finally know all of the eight teams that will compete in the tournament's Finals.

Earlier today, Virtus.pro, Spacestation Gaming, and Soniqs joined the previously qualified FaZe Clan, w7m esports, Team BDS, Team Secret, and Team Falcons to complete the tournament's top eight.

Shortly after the conclusion of the day's final matches, the BLAST R6 Major Montreal Finals bracket was unveiled. These are the matches that will be played in the tournament's quarterfinals:

  • FaZe Clan vs. Soniqs
  • Team BDS vs. Team Secret
  • w7m esports vs. Spacestation Gaming
  • Team Falcons vs. Virtus.pro

Out of the four matches played on November 15 only one will include two teams from the same region as Team BDS will play against Team BDS. Curiously enough, this match will be a replay of the BLAST R6 Major Manchester quarterfinals. The French-majority roster would take the victory and eventually finished in second place after losing the tournament's grand final against Beastcoast.

The winner of the clash between Team BDS and Team Secret will play against the winner of the series between FaZe Clan and Soniqs. The last time both teams clashed was at the Six Invitational 2024 as the Brazilians took a 2-0 victory.

On the other side of the bracket, w7m esports will play against Spacestation Gaming as both sides will meet for the second time this season. The first match between both rosters was at the Esports World Cup 2024 and it ended in a 7-3 win for the Brazilian side.

Last but not least, Team Falcons and Virtus.pro will unexpectedly meet in Montreal's quarterfinals as the winner will play against the victorious side of the match between w7m esports and Spacestation Gaming.
