We are almost halfway through Season 3 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, which means a mid-season patch is set to drop soon. The update is already available to preload for some people, and this will bring more content to keep us entertained for the remainder of the season.
While we wait for the patch notes to come out, we have gathered everything we know so far about the upcoming update.
Release date
The mid-season update for Black Ops 6 Season 3 is scheduled to come out on Thursday, May 1st at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM BST) for all platforms.
PC players can preload the update to have it ready once the update is out. On the other hand, the preload for console players will begin a few hours before its release.
What can we expect from the patch notes?
The patch notes for the Black Ops 6 Season 3 mid-season update will be posted on the Call of Duty blog a day before or the day it comes out. In the meantime, we can speculate about the changes this new update will bring based on previous versions.
Leaving out all the additions that have already been announced through the marketing material and official posts, the patch should implement changes to most of the current meta weapons to balance them out and allow other options to shine.
We could also see more quality-of-life additions, changes to the UI, and changes to other elements of the game, like scorestreaks, perks, etc.

The most recent Zombies map, Shattered Veil, is poised to receive some adjustments. Enemies, power-ups, prices, and easter egg-related features are constantly getting adjusted after release in each map, so the tendency should continue.
Once the full patch notes are available, we will update this article so you can read them all here and get ready for the new content.
