Even though the game launched just two weeks ago, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be released soon, adding new content to both multiplayer and Zombies.

Now that the season's content has been revealed, we have prepared a summary highlighting all the new things coming to the game so you can prepare accordingly.

Release date

Season 1 of Black Ops 6 is scheduled to go live on Thursday, November 14, almost three weeks after the game's launch. The season comes out on an unusual day of the week given that new Call of Duty seasons usually release on a Wednesday.

The new content should arrive at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm GMT) through a new update. Players from all platforms will be able to preload said update at least a day before release on PC and a few hours prior on the console.

Roadmap

Here is the roadmap for this first season, which is an infographic that highlights all the important additions:

Prop Hunt will arrive at the mid-season and it's the classic hide-and-seek game where one team becomes objects and hides, while the other tries to find them.

Perks, Wildcards, and Scorestreak

More utilities to the loadout creation menu are also one the way, starting with the following brand-new perks:

  • Shadow:
    • Type: Strategist
    • Slot: 2
    • Undetectable to enemy traps and mines.
    • Available at the start of the season
      • Shrapnel Radar:

    • Slot: 3
    • Dealing blast damage to enemies will reveal them on your minimap. This includes any enemies affected by your area-of-effect Tacticals, Lethals, and Field Upgrades.
    • Available at the mid-season
  • A new scorestreak called Hand Cannon is also coming to the game at the start of the season. It has a cost of 900 points and allows players to equipo a handgun capable of one-shotting enemies.

On top of that, a new Wildcard called High Roller will arrive at the mid-season and it allows for players to equip four scorestreaks instead of three.

    Zombies

Zombies players won't be left out since a new map is coming at the mid-season point. The map is called Citadelle des Morts and takes place in a medieval location in Europe, with a castle and a village.

This is where the Terminus crew is headed after the events of that first map. Treyarch also confirmed the following elements will be added to the game alongside the map:

    • 1 new perk
    • 3 new flavors of GobbleGum
    • 1 new Field Upgrade
    • 1 new Ammo Mod

    • The Hand Cannon as a craftable scorestreak
    • New Wonder Weapons (plural)
    • New enemy types

Here are other minor details we would like to point out about the season so you don't miss anything:
