Black Ops 6 multiplayer will feature several maps for users to play on. Unlike Modern Warfare 3 where the entire launch offering was made of remastered maps, the new title will offer all-new locations at launch.
On top of that, the first post-launch map has already been announced and it's an all-time classic in the franchise. We have gathered all the information you need about the game's maps.
How many maps are in Black Ops 6?
At launch, Black Ops 6 will feature 16 multiplayer maps, with 12 being core maps for 6v6 modes and four being Strike maps for 2v2 or 3v3 modes. As the cycle progresses, we'll update the total Black Ops 6 map count as new ones are added into

As you can see, the first post-launch map will be the return of Nuketown. Players believed the all-time classic map was going to be replaced by Sandhouse since the classic Nuketown houses and vehicles appeared in it.
However, developers confirmed through the COD Podcast that this map only takes place near Nuketown, as evidenced by clues in the background.
