APAC South team Elevate have signed Gabriel "LaXInG" Mirelez as their coach ahead of the start of Stage 3. He replaces Nattakan "Dr.Bestsiaer" Prachanban, who retired after the Berlin Major.
Elevate and LaXInG have history together, with the American having been on the team from Mar. 3 to Sep. 5 2016 and Dec. 8 2016 to Feb. 2 2018.
In the second stint with Elevate, LaXInG won the Six Invitational 2017 on the Xbox, qualified for the Pro League Season 4 Finals, and was grand-finalist at the Season 5 Finals.
Now, after having been dropped by Oxygen Esports after the end of the Berlin Major, he returns to Elevate -- but to their current Thai team and as a coach.

On PC, LaXInG attended five Six Invitational events, peaking with a third-fourth place finish in 2019, attended both the Sweden and Charlotte Majors, and the Season 10 ESL Pro League Finals.
His new team debuted internationally earlier this year at the Six Invitational 2022, finishing in the top 12 there, and qualified for both the subsequent Six Majors. However, visa issues prevented Elevate from attending the Charlotte Major, while they made it to the quarter-finals of the Berlin Major.
Elevate have been dominant in APAC South, finishing in first, second, and third place in the 2021 season and have finished in first and second place in 2022 so far. They will be eager to attend the November Major as well and are on-course for an SI 2023 appearance.
