Heroic today announced the signing of former Challenger League player Maxime "Meloo" Cahagnet and national league hot prospect Marc "jume" Steinmann.

Jume has previously competed in the Benelux League, in which he finished runners-up in Season 6 behind Kevin "Prano" Pranowitz and Tom "Deapek" Pieksma's GAMMA GAMING.

Following this, he won the Northern Premier League Nordic qualifier and competed in the UKIN Rainbow Rumble on Delta Project alongside Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten, Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen, and Fynn "Drvn" Lorenzen.

He has since been the top-rated player in this year's GSA League after playing the first half of the season on Team Enyx, before finishing third in the first Challenger League open qualifier on EDS alongside Adam "Hxsti" Hostisoczki and Peter "pacbull" Bull.

Now, it has been announced that he will finally make his tier-one debut on Heroic.

Meloo is best known for his time on Acend last year in the European Challenger League and was on the team briefly alongside former BDS coach Arnaud "BiOs" Billaudel. He finished the EUCL season in the top six with the team, just after a fifth-place finish in the 6 French League Season 3.

After qualifying for the EUL for the 2021 season, Heroic then shot to the top of Europe in Stage 1 of 2022 before exiting their Charlotte Major group in last place. During Stage 2, the roster dropped to fifth, behind fourth-placed G2 by round difference, leading to some rather dramatic changes.

Two of the roster's three remaining members from their promotion into the EUL -- Jake "Sloth" Brown and Georgi "GorgoNa" Stoyanov -- left the team during this transfer window, with Meloo being the first announced replacement player.

Heroic will debut their new lineup on Sep. 12 when the EUL restarts.
