Fortnite on iOS is making a comeback. Finally, after several years of players in the United States losing access to the battle royale on their iOS devices, Epic Games announced that it will be returning this year.

There have been years of legal proceedings between Epic Games and Apple, with Fortnite developers getting the upper hand. Now, they'll be able to return to the App Store under better terms.

Is Fortnite coming back to iOS?

The answer is yes. Fortnite has returned to iOS. After days of suspense, Epic Games announced on May that players could jump back into the battle royale in the United States via iOS devices.

It took a while as the the previous last news we had received was via the Fortnite X account (formerly known as Twitter). Back on May 9, they stated that Epic had submitted the Fortnite app to Apple for review so they could launch it in the U.S. App Store.

On May 20, it was finally confirmed: Fortnite had made its return to the United States App Store.

If you're looking to download Fortnite on iOS in the United States, you simply have to go to the App Store and search for the game.

According to Epic Games, it will take some time for Fortnite to appear via the search functionality of the App Store. In that case, you can access the application directly from this link.
