FNATIC have announced the departure of Dante "Dante7" Italiani from their Rainbow Six Siege lineup. The Argentinian player joined shortly after the conclusion of the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026 in a shocking move that saw the South American player making his top flight league debut in Europe.
The roster move was a difficult one both for the team and the player. The Argentinian had to move to Romania to compete alongside his new teammates. Therefore, it was not just to adapt to new teammates; it also was about adapting to a whole new culture.
The Argentinian averaged a SiegeGG rating of 0.75 in nine maps. He finished the stage with a K-D of 51-79 (-28) and an entry balance of 13-17 (-4).
The BLAST R6 Europe and MENA League 2026 Stage 2 was a difficult split for FNATIC. After a promising Top 12 finish at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2026, the European-majority lineup lost Ben "CTZN" McMillan and Jimmy "DEADSHT" Vojtasik as they joined Shifters. In other words, the team had to rebuild their project and chemistry.
Dante7's departure from FNATIC was to be expected, especially considering FNATIC didn't qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Osaka. Now, the team will focus on building a full European team to compete in Europe and MENA's Six Invitational 2027 Last Chance Qualifier.
The Argentinian already announced that he's LFT in South America and Brazil. He has spent most of his career playing in Brazil's Tier 2 and the already extinct LATAM top flight. He made the international stage once, as he competed for Team Cruelty at the Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2024.
