Following the exit of Taku "No2" Murakami and Ryuki "Ramu" Matsuoka, the latter of which has since joined Fnatic, FAV gaming has signed three new players -- Hikaru "Li9ht" Osawa and Naoki "Yura" Takamoto from Fnatic as well as Sengoku Gaming's "Sironeko".
Yura and Li9ht have been playing together on the GUTS Gaming roster since the start of the 2020 Season. Since then they peaked with a runner-up in APAC North during Stage 3 last year while finishing fourth last stage.
Sironeko meanwhile has spent his entire career on Sengoku Gaming. This team finished the 2021 Japan League in second place behind CYCLOPS but then lost the APAC North relegation battle to both FAV and REJECT to miss out on a tier-one spot.
These three joining now makes FAV a seven-man lineup, an extremely rare sight to see in modern professional R6. Their first game with this team will be against Spear Gaming on Wednesday, Sept. 14th, where we'll see who exactly plays on FAV's starting lineup.
