After victories against Malvinas Gaming and Black Dragons in the Copa Elite Six, w7m esports have qualified for the Jönköping Major. As a result, w7m will be one of only two teams alongside Wolves Esports to have attended all three Majors this year.
Earlier this month, w7m also secured a spot to compete at the Six Invitational 2023 and have been the most consistent team in the region this season with first place finishes in each stage of the BR6.
In Brazil, Joao “Jv92” Vitor has been the best player for w7m this stage with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.18. Gabriel “volpz” Fernandes, with a 1.13 Rating, and Diego “Kheyze” Zanello, with a 1.12 Rating, are close behind and are a formidable trio for any team.
Recently, w7m esports defeated FURIA Esports the weekend before the Copa Elite Six began in the BR6 semi-finals.
The Jönköping Major will be Julio “JULIO” Giacomelli’s first international appearance for w7m after joining the team for the third stage of the year and his second in a row overall, after he attended the Berlin Major as FURIA’s coach.
