CAG Osaka have been eliminated from the BLAST R6 Major Manchester following today's 1-2 defeat against Team BDS.

The French-majority roster kicked off the series with a one-sided victory on Kafe Dostoyevsky as they defeated the Japanese side by 7-2. Nevertheless, the two remaining maps were extremely close as both Skyscraper and Oregon went to maximum overtime.

Following CAG Osaka's victory on Skyscraper, the Japanese completed a 5-1 defensive half as they put Team BDS between a rock and a hard place. However, Team BDS' answer was immediate as they won their initial five defenses, which meant it was now CAG Osaka's turn to avoid elimination.

Despite doing so after winning their first attack on round twelve, the Japanese players had to start Oregon's overtime from the attacking side, which meant they would have to win at least one offensive round to win the game. Eventually, the Europeans confirmed the map win with two successful defenses.

Therefore, CAG Osaka has become the first APAC team to be knocked out of the BLAST R6 Major Manchester Phase 2 following the team's defeats against SCARZ, Beastcoast, and Team BDS, and the team's victory against E1 Sports on May 20.
