As announced about a month ago, EA has a new program called Battlefield Labs to recruit players to test the upcoming Battlefield game in a series of private test sessions.
The first test session is currently taking place and while all participants have signed an NDA to keep everything under wraps, some have decided to leak footage of the new title.
Gameplay has been posted on social media and one user was even livestreaming the game through their Twitch channel. Here are some of the gameplay posts we have seen for you to check it out:
As expected, EA is trying to take down all the leaks that are coming out, so the gameplay above might not remain available for long.
The footage shows us a match of Conquest, the classic Battlefield game mode, on the map Abbasid. We can see that classes (Support, Assault, Engineer, etc) are back, the HUD is similar to the one present in Battlefield 3 or 4, and the weapon handling and movement is also similar to those titles.
One thing the Battlefield franchise is known for is the level of destruction their maps possess, and this game surely has that feature. One of the clips shows us a player driving a tank through a building, indicating that buildings in this map are completely destructible.
This is just an alpha version of the game and a release date or public test session hasn't been announced, so we will probably have to wait a little bit more to get more information from official sources.
