A new midseason event is coming to Apex Legends Season 26 titled Wild Iron. The event will bring new wild cards, add a new collection of skins, and also introduce a new mythic weapon skin to the mix.
Now that all the details have been announced, we have prepared a summary with the important info so you can get familiar with it before the event kicks off.
When does the Apex Legends Wild Iron event start?
The Wild Iron event for Apex Legends is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 16th, at 10:00 AM PT (6:00 PM BST). An end date for the event hasn't been revealed, but we expect it to last around three weeks.

New Wild Cards
The event will introduce the following wild cards, which will be available from September 16 to 30:
- Crackerjack: instantly reload weapon on knock
- Down Bad: enemies explode when knocked
- Extra Ordnance: player gains ability to carry +1 ordnance
- Good Doctor: revive squadmates with additional shields
- Gren-Aid: mark enemies damaged by your explosives
- Sent Packing: frag grenade knockback is increased
- Shield’s Up: gain Epic level shield
- Stowed Reload: stowed weapon auto-reloads after several seconds
Cosmetics
For starters, the event will introduce a mythic skin for the Flatline, which is inspired by the legend Fuse. Here is a look at the weapon:
Players can obtain the mythic through event packs, which grant one event item and two standard items. Once the event ends, the only way to obtain the event is through the Heirloom shop.
