A new skin for Loba called Summer Slay is coming soon to Apex Legends. This cosmetic will be part of the upcoming Haute Shot event, this year's summer event.
The skin leaked a few weeks ago, and many consider it above the previous summer skin for the legend, Trouble in Paradise. Now that it has been officially revealed, we have all the methods you can follow to unlock it.
How to get the Loba Summer Slay skin in Apex Legends
Here are the only two methods to obtain the upcoming Loba Summer Slay skin in Apex Legends:
Opening Haute Shot packs
The first one is by opening Haute Shot packs. Each of these packs gives one Haute Shot event item and two standard items. Given that the skin is part of the event items, there is a chance to get the cosmetic through these special boxes.
Keep in mind that event packs can be obtained by purchasing them through the store with Apex Coins or by completing event challenges. On top of that, most events grant one free pack at the start to all players.
Through the in-game shop
The second method is more direct but involves spending money. The Summer Slay skin will also be available through the in-game shop during the event.
As you can see in the image, the skin will cost 1800 Apex Coins or 2400 Crafting Materials. Both unlock methods will be available from July 15th to August 5th at 10:00 AM PT (6:00 PM BST). Once the event ends on August 5th, there won't be a way to unlock this skin unless Respawn does a rerun in the future and brings it back.
